CLASSES FOR CHILDREN
(9:30 on Sundays)

NURSERY (Birth–2 Years Old)
Jamie Mingus (749-0371)

The nursery is located upstairs near the foyer in the rear of the sanctuary. Our nursery is not simply a time of baby-sitting, it is also a time of singing and learning that is appropriate for infants and toddlers. Every baby is shown the love of Jesus and given special care and attention. Our nursery is open during Sunday School and Sunday morning services.

PRE-K (3-5 Years Old)
Teacher: Erik Adams

The Pre-K class is located on the second floor in Room #24. Through listening, singing, praying and playing, the children learn about Jesus’ love for them. They also learn how to share, play together, and work together. Each child in the class is loved and treated as special.

MIDDLERS (1st-3rd Grades)
Teacher: Carrie Thornton (778-3569)

The Middlers Class meets upstairs in Room #22. They use the Church of God Lower Elementary Curriculum. Carrie teaches the children how to respect God and love one another. They study the Bible together and pray for any needs they have.

JUNIORS CLASS (4th-6th Grades)
Teacher:  Chris Underwood

The Juniors Class uses the Church of God Sunday School curriculum, which is interesting and relevant to the students. The class meets upstairs in Room #27. Our inspiration comes from our Lord when He said in St. Luke 18:16, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

YOUTH CLASS (7th-12th Grades)

The Youth Class is a small but growing group of Junior and Senior High students that meet downstairs in the educational wing. Their time together involves breakfast, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Erik makes use of modern technology (e.g. music, movie clips, and television) to illustrate how the Bible is relevant to the events and topics teens face today. His mission is to lead the youth into a better tomor-row, to develop them into devoted followers of our Lord Jesus Christ who will then influence their world.

Shirley loves the children very much and teaches them each week about God and his love for them. Each child is respected and is taught to respect one another.

JUNIORS 4 JESUS (1st-5th Grades)

The Juniors 4 Jesus class meets upstairs in the open area. This class meets every Sunday morning during the service except for the first Sunday of the month. They have Bible study, crafts, games, and refreshments. The children have a lot of fun while learning about Jesus Christ.

CLASSES FOR ADULTS
(9:30 on Sundays)

YOUNG ADULTS
Mike Lentz

This class meets in the chapel. It is for those who are out of high school in their late teens, in their twenties or in their thirties. It is for singles as well as married couples.

HOMEMAKERS CLASS
Jim & Joyce Burch (448-2739)

The Homemakers Class discusses the Word of God and how it applies to everyday living. We use Bridges Curriculum that is adapted to our understanding of the Church of God doctrine. We are serious about living a holy life and frequently discuss our conduct and behavior. Our class includes longtime married people, singles, widows, and widowers. Our goal is to know we are saved and are working in His kingdom.

LADIES CLASS
June Rowe (937-1922) |

This class is for women of all ages whether you are single, married, divorced, or widowed. We are learn-ing together through God’s Word how to become godly women as we reflect Christ in our lives. We support, encourage, and pray for one another. We discuss topics and Scriptures that relate to women’s needs in particular.

JOY CLASS
Wayne Insko (366-6591)

The Joy Class is not limited to any particular age group, with an average attendance of 20-25 students. The Joy Class is considered a family as we share our praises, hurts and burdens together and lift them up in prayer to God. We also draw for secret pals whom we remember at anniversaries, birthdays, special holidays, and we especially remember them in prayer throughout the year. Wayne uses Church of God Sunday School curriculum. All members are encouraged to share as we study and apply God’s word to our lives.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY
Mark Jackson (361-8275)

This class meets for four weeks at a time periodically through the year. Taught by the pastor, Welcome to the Family is designed to assimilate new people into the church. The following subjects are addressed: the church’s history, purpose, beliefs, leadership structures, and bylaws. The class meets in the chapel. This is a great opportunity to become acquainted with the church, the pastor, and other new members.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
Jim Burch (448-2739)

Every Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Jim Burch leads a men’s Bible Study upstairs above the church office. It is a great time to discuss the word of God and to see how it applies to your life. Men of all ages are welcome to attend this weekly Bible Study. Come to the church office door (entrance facing Taylor Blvd.), then go upstairs.
